You want to know how you can become more connected to God? 

Maybe you’ve been searching for Him your entire life and never really connected deeply. 

It could be you had an experience that got you in contact with Him. Or you’re merely curious about the topic.

After all, in the year 2024, why are there still people searching for some “Sky Father”. Blindly wishing for miracles. 

Hopefully, after this article you will understand that even coming here was a sign that you were ready.

“God shows himself through synchronicities”

This is one of them, hopefully.

Understand that He is everywhere

The first principle that must be understood is that He is everywhere. He is part of the world, the energy and everything connected to those two. 

It’s worth mentioning, I’m not talking about what Christians call God. 

There is a slight difference.

If you have ever felt a golden feeling accompanied with a feeling of everything will be alright, that is Him. When you understand a distant connection between two different things, Him. 

He is the Universe as a whole. The energy that flows through and everything in it. 

God is the smallest particle, to the biggest galaxy. Even the way that they’re designed is similar. In both you have a central point with smaller parts orbiting the whole. 

Life has a way of organising itself, through the most efficient way possible. This is one way that He expresses himself.

Not only that, what would you do if you were everything that has existed, exists and will exist at the same time?

Maybe you would create conscious beings to observe yourself with. 

I will go a step further, if God is everything and pure conscious at the same time, then each part of him is an expression of the whole.

Meaning everything you can see, touch, hear, smell and taste is conscious. Albeit at a lower frequency than you.

You are part of the greater whole

This realisation alone, puts you in a better position to be closer. 

It’s almost as if a light switch gets flicked on and just like that, you start to see more connections that were previously invisible.

In other words, because the Universe felt dead, then how could you see the more subtle ways that it expresses itself.

Note: I’m using God and Universe interchangeably. They are one and the same.

However, it’s a strange topic to cover, the only pieces of information are from word of mouth. It’s something you must experience first hand.

Some examples:

• You think of something, could be random, and see it later on. Usually close to the date that the thought occurred to you.

• People keep telling you the same exact message, even though these people are all very different. It may even go against their values, yet they tell you.

• You ask for help or guidance of some form, and a master/mentor appears.

• You get in a close call with another car, but before that happened something possessed you to slow down, meaning you missed the car instead of hitting it. 

These are very basic examples of synchronicities or signs that could happen. I bet there has been more than one occasion that you thought was strange in a metaphysical way.

As if something is watching you and knows your exact thoughts.

How do I become closer to God?

Below are 5 ways you can open yourself up to the energy of the universe. Letting it guide you down the path.

1. Meditate

This one could strike you as silly. I hear you asking, “how can sitting down quietly help in any way?”

To begin, synchronicities occur at various moments during the day. They happen on repeat to those who are open to God. 

He speaks to us in this way.

So, when someone is talking to you, are you quiet or do you talk about yourself?

I think we can agree, there is only so much that someone can take from you talking about yourself. It doesn’t help the conversation along for very long. 

In a similar way, if your head is full of thoughts which distract focus, there will be less awareness to spend on seeing what the synchronicity meant.

Assuming you clocked it. 

Thoughts distract you by taking the present moment away. You’re in the past or the future, and signs only occur in the now.

Presence is the gift from meditation and synchronicity confirms this. 

By being more present, life starts to expand into abundance because you’re there living it. 

2. Follow your Inner Voice more

I hope it is clear that you are a part of God himself. His consciousness connects you via spirit. 

This spirit runs through the filter that is you, more specifically your Soul. 

The little voice is the part of yourself which understands this. It also knows what you should be doing at all times. 

The unfortunate thing about the voice is it gets drowned out by your mind.

It doesn’t make sense to quit your 6 figure a year job on the surface. You get:

• Money
• Company benefits 
• Pension
• A place to be with others 
• Responsibilities

And so the list goes on.

But it all means Jack if you hate getting up in the morning. 

Obviously your mind has taken that into account, yet there is a list against one intangible. The odds don’t add up.

Your mind tells you to stay at the job because of all the benefits but in the process you get further away from God. Because you stop listening to that part of you which knows Him the best. 

By following the voice or your gut, you have to take some seemingly crazy actions. Other people will scold you or be confused.

However, in the twist that is life, by following your gut, you get closer to God and it shows you trust Him. 

An opportunity will open because of this leap and will take you closer to your core. 

The best possible thing you can do is to allow spirit to flow through and out of you, in the form of your craft,

You not only help yourself, but those all around you. And it’s this positive energy that lets you get to know Him better. 

3. Pray

If meditation is like receiving signals from the Universe, praying is the opposite. 

It’s the transmitting of whatever it is you ask for.

Though I must mention here, you cannot pray successfully without adding emotion or feeling to your words.

Without that energy, you will only be asking for something. Just as you’d ask another person, yet God is no person. 

By knowing what you want and praying for it, you are sending a deeper signal inwards to pinpoint that future.  

Your subconscious mind will pick up on the emotional prayer and in its own way start positioning your ideas and thoughts to pick up more of the frequency you need.

Ever noticed how like attracts like?

It’s a universal law of nature that things of similar nature naturally attract each other. 

So by focusing your thoughts on your goal, you will start seeing more goals in reality. Which will in turn show your brain that it is working, reinforcing these thoughts. 

But this doesn’t explain how it gets you closer to God. 

“Ask and thou shalt receive”.

You’re part of the system! By definitely asking for what you want, you will get it. 

However, that’s not to say it will be easy. He will test you to see how badly you want your goal. 

It’s this process of praying, giving your energy to it and overcoming obstacles on the way that brings you closer. 

He is everything, so it doesn’t matter if part of Himself, asks Himself for another part!

It also works the other way….

4. Reconnect with Nature

Aside from the benefits of connecting with nature, such as ground or a clearer mind, it’s always a great idea to take time outside.

Our ancestors were intimately connected with Her. That in itself should be enough. 

Nature is an orchestra playing the most beautiful symphony known to our ears.

Take a step back into your mind for a moment. Think of the best time you were in the natural world.

I’ve been to the Alps and Italy but nothing compares to lying in the open field in summer with my friends.

We had been walking for a few hours and needed a break. There was a perfect field, with shin high green grass, on a slope with views and a blue sky filled with fluffy clouds. 

The sound of the birds and wind through the grass, swaying of the trees and colours comes together to deeply relax you.

Beauty is the highest form of expression that God can do. Hence why the Fibonacci sequence exists in the first place. 

This sequence explains that there is a universal pattern life follows and it is everywhere in nature. 

So by connecting with nature, you connect with one of God’s highest expressions of Himself.

5. Enjoy your life 

Last of all, enjoy your life.

Do what you wanna do. If you want to go travelling, do it.

Follow synchronicity and your gut to wherever you want to go. Let your life be an adventure.

The fact is, we don’t have forever on Earth. Our time is short, so why spend it doing things that you have no interest in?

Take a step back from everything spiritual for a moment, if you love what your life is shaping out to be. Know that it is in your hands. You can change directions anywhere. 

God has given you a marvellous brain and beautiful heart. These are yours, with your own needs and wants.

Other people have their own too. 

There is no reason to follow any other path than the one that you want. 

I never see this in any spiritual guide or how to. 

This life has been given to you, so how else will you honour such a gift?

Clarification

This is not an excuse to go on a life long bender. 

Beauty is the highest form of expression and wasting it away through vices will not make you more spiritual. In fact it cuts you off. 

So maybe, if you’ve got this far, you need to cut the negative habits that chain you from being the best version of yourself.

Just a thought.

Conclusions – Complex world

Life is complicated. There are so many variables at play, that trying to consider everything will end up causing more confusion. 

Keep it Simple. 

If you feel a desire to follow a certain path. Let that be so.

If God doesn’t do it for you, but calling it the Universe does. Cool. 

The beauty of this life is the fact that you don’t need to be in control of everything. He does that for you.

But He gave you a shot at this life. To Him, it doesn’t matter whether you go the negative or positive route. He experiences these in the past, present and Future.

Yet your Soul wants the best for you, which is why there’s an inner voice. 

And it comes down to a series of choices to be made by you. 

Do you follow your inner compass to the North star, or do you drift until you meet the maker face to face.

What reaction do you want to see? How will you be judged?
